Football is back. The first week brought a lot of excitement and a lot of pain. The highest point scorer this week, and winner of our $10 pot, was Scotts Tots who finished with 142.3 points.

Fantasy Stud of the Week

This week's fantasy stud of the week goes to local Palo Alto HS star, Davante Adams, who pushed Scott's Tots over the top in a high-scoring affair against Geaux Tigahs. On a team normally led by fantasy god, Lamar Jackson, it was Adams that lead the surge in Week 1 with an eye-opening 34.6 points.

Fantasy Dud of the Week

This week's dud plays for reigning champ, Sam's Chicken Stars. In a game where newcomer, JK Dobbins, stole the show, incumbent running back Mark Ingram put up a meager 2.9 points. Big Truss? More like Big Bust.

Match-Up of the Week 1 Results

This week, we had Sam's Chicken Stars and The Sack in the match-up of the week in what was supposed to be a great game on paper. Instead, The Sack gave Sam's Chicken Star's a good ol' ass whooping. Even though the Sack didn't quite reach his projection of 117 points, he came close, putting up a solid 114 points. Sam's Chicken Star's really just screwed the pooch this week. With a projection of 118 points, Jackson's team couldn't handle the pressure and came in almost 30 points below the projection, with 89 points scored. The Sack was led by Matt Ryan and DK Metcalf, combining for over 40 points. His surprise of the week was the New Orleans Defense who put up 17 points. They made Tom Brady look like Brett Farve after retirement #2. I guess all Tom has left to do is leak a dick pic.

Not surprisingly, Scott's Tots comes in the #1 slot with Lamar Jackson leading the way and I'm sure Jackson and Grunt are taking it well. Air Rick came in #2 in week one, but with Marlon Mack most likely out for the year, he will slide down the standings in the weeks to come. The best non-QB combo was DK Metcalf and Derrick Henry who both put up great numbers in week 1. Mostly good numbers from the keepers this week - great job everyone!......Except for Hutch. I guess you CAN Guard Mike.
