Grunt and Melvin Gordon: Flushing the Season Down the Toilet

Grunt started the season off strong with an opening week win against the creatively named Kyle's Team. Unfortunately, that's where things stopped going well for him. Grunt now has 4 straight losses, tying Hutch and Sam's Chicken Stars for the worst records in the league.

Currently, Grunt is second lowest in total points scored and lowest in projected points for the rest of the season. In all reality, Grunt should be doing a lot better because he has the 4th lowest amount of points against him. He's made 14 transactions, none of which have helped him, and one of which got him Melvin Gordon.

Speaking of Melvin Gordon, Grunt has only a few good players on his team....and one of them just got arrested for a DUI. Melvin Gordon and Grunt have the same outlook for the rest of the season: they are both going to get fucked. Melvin will get suspended and Grunt is going to be battling Hutch for last place.

Don't look for things to get better this week. Grunt plays Torero Nation and is projected to lose by 10 points, which is the second biggest margin this week (Kyle hasn't changed his lineup yet and has 2 byes). With Melvin Gordon questionable to play, the only other available RB on Grunt's bench is D'Ernest Johnson. With a lineup like that, I would expect Grunt to lose by a solid 20 points this week. Sorry buddy, it seems like you and Melvin are both looking down the barrel of a squandered season.
